I just finished Dust and Shadow: An Account of the Ripper Killings by Dr. John H. Watson and though no one has probably read it and no one will read what I have to say because it's spoilery, I must get it out.

Written by P. D. Lyle, M.D., the books Murder & Mayhem and Forensics & Fiction are incredibly useful, not to mention interesting, if you're planning on writing a murder myster & want to be hideously accurate. Of course, they're fascinating even if you're not writing & just want some "oh really? I did not know that" trivia to pull out.
